Did you hear about Amanda Seyfried’s dress breaking at the Critics Choice Awards? With one little rip or slip, a perfectly styled look can go from fashion to flub instantly. These celebs suffered revealing wardrobe malfunctions on the red carpet, and we love that they kept calm and carried on!
Amanda Seyfried suffered her malfunction at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards. Her vintage Dior dress kept falling off her body! Selena Gomez had shoe problems at last year’s SAG Awards. After a dramatic fall, she spent the rest of the night barefoot. It’s the same move Kristen Stewart pulled at Cannes a few years before, except Kristen took her shoes off because they were uncomfortable. Kim Kardashian was forced to deny reports that she had damaged Marilyn Monroe’s dress at the Met Gala. Zendaya also suffered a close call at the Spiderman: No Way Home premiere. Bella Hadid, Emma Watson, and Chrissy Teigen all accidentally flashed their underwear thanks to high dress slits. Cara Delevingne’s undoing was her short, short dress. And Tara Reid let everything hang out in front of photographers in 2004.
So, which stars do you think recovered the best from their wardrobe malfunctions? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to like, share and subscribe to TheThings Celebrity for more on your favorite celebs!

When you’re a celebrity, the cameras catch everything. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much double-stick tape you use – wardrobe malfunctions are unavoidable. All fifteen of these celebrities have suffered accidental slips, rips, or flashes of the (well, you know). But stars know how to improvise on the fly, and many of these celebs managed to get on with the show or laugh off their bad luck.
Zendaya and Chrissy Teigen suffered their fashion snafus on the red carpets. Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid revealed more than she bargained for while walking the runway at Milan Fashion Week. Unfortunately for Miley Cyrus, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, Camila Cabello, and Janet Jackson, they all had theirs on live TV. Katy Perry, Charli XCX were lucky; their television wardrobe malfunctions weren’t live, and were gracefully edited out of the final broadcast. Cardi B and Lenny Kravitz weren’t on TV when their outfits let them down, but thanks to cameras in the crowd, they went viral anyway! And Kim Kardashian? Well, she posted her fashion flub on Instagram anyway. When in doubt, cover the offending area with a heart emoji!
Who do you think recovered the best from their wardrobe glitches? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to like, share and subscribe to TheThings Celebrity for more on your favourite celebs!
